“Every community has a memory of itself. Not a history, nor an archive, nor an authoritative record: A living memory, an awareness of a collective identity woven of a thousand stories.” - Joe Lambert, Director of the Center for Digital Storytelling.
Novalda Participatory Video offers individuals, groups, families, and communities the opportunity to co-create and share their own film: bringing people together to explore issues, voice concerns, share values, or simply tell their stories.
The process of co-creating and sharing films is empowering, leading individuals, groups, families, and communities to:
-
Feel seen, listened to, and understood;
-
Learn, celebrate, remember, and heal;
-
Take action that creates the change they want to see;
-
Communicate their needs and ideas to decision-makers and/or other individuals, groups, and communities; and
-
Be aware of a collective identity and feel connected.
A variety of Participatory Video (PV) Packages are available and can be designed to meet your specific requirements.
Novalda Participatory Video is a collaboration between trained PV practitioners, sisters Siân Woodcock and Kerry Woodcock.
