British-born, Kerry Woodcock is a Certified Co-active Coach; Relationship Systems Coach; Participatory Video Practitioner; and Stay-at-home Mother of three. She provides personal and relationship systems coaching; creates and leads experiential workshops; and facilitates the creation and sharing of films with everyday individuals, groups, families, and communities, through participatory video. She specialises in working with parents; expatriates; people living with dying; and marginalised people. She is based in Calgary, Canada; with the world as her playground!
Kerry is an innovative and daring person both in her personal and professional life. She is passionate about the power of coaching and participatory video to create awareness, amplify potential, and weave the strings that connect us all. An enthusiastic, creative, and playful coach and facilitator, she supports her clients to lead their starring roles in life.
Kerry’s ‘starring roles’ have included: co-facilitating Participatory Video with her sister for a Sport for Development Programme in their home town; leading a review of Participatory Forest Management in the Eastern Arc and Coastal Forests of Tanzania; writing an academic book based on her doctoral research; co-leading her family with her husband as they create homes around the world; home-birthing all three children and initiating the use of innovative hypnosis techniques for child birth in the UK; living and working in a remote Tanzanian village for four years; and competing as a Junior Great Britain International Race Walker.
Kerry is a Certified Co-Active Coach; a student of Organisational and Relationship Systems Coaching; a trained Participatory Video Practitioner, and has a Doctorate in Geography and Environmental Management. She has fourteen years of experience working for social change, in her roles as a Participatory Learning and Action facilitator in Tanzania and now as a Personal and Relationship Systems Coach and Participatory Video facilitator. Kerry is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Calgary Association of Professional Coaches.
