Team Coaching Supervision
Reflexivity for Systemic Impact
SuperVision for Deeper Systemic Insight
Team coaching supervision at Novalda is for coaches who work at the edge—those navigating power, paradox, and polarity in dynamic systems. This is supervision: a crucible for your own evolution as a team coach.
Whether you’re preparing for your ACTC, feeling the stretch of systemic coaching, or seeking a container for deeper ethical reflection, this space is designed for you.
We don’t observe from the sidelines. We sit in co-reflection with you—meeting complexity with presence, and evolving through it, together.
Why Team Coaching Supervision?
- ICF requires 5–10 hours of supervision for the Advanced Certificate in Team Coaching (ACTC) and allows up to 10 hours of supervision for credential renewal.
- EMCC Global requires supervision for all accredited coaches.

Let’s explore what team coaching supervision path fits best.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this required for my ACTC?
Yes. ICF requires team coaching supervision for the ACTC (5–10 hours). Our group and 1:1 supervision offerings meet these requirements.
Do I have to be credentialed to attend?
No. You just need to be actively coaching real-world teams. This space is ideal whether you’re credentialed, preparing for credentialing, or expanding your reflective capacity and practice.
How is team coaching supervision different from general coaching supervision?
Team coaching supervision specifically considers the coach–team system dynamic, stakeholder complexity, co-coaching relationships, and the ethics of working in living systems.
Can I combine this with other Novalda programs?
Yes. Many participants join both our Master the Art of Team Coaching, Diploma in Team Coaching Supervision, and Resonance programs.
Check out our Programs for Team Coaches.
What’s the difference between mentor coaching and coaching supervision?
While both support coach development, the focus is different:
- Mentor Coaching focuses on building coaching skills and competencies. It involves reviewing recorded sessions to provide technical feedback.
- Coaching Supervision is a reflective process that explores your overall coaching practice, ethical challenges, and professional identity. The supervisor acts as a co-pilot to support deeper insight and growth.
How is coaching supervision defined?
EMCC Global defines it as “a form of facilitated reflective practice… a reflective dialogue that ensures we are all delivering our best work in the service of our clients.
How do I know which supervision option is best for me?
That depends on your goals, learning preferences, and current coaching context. Consider:
Privacy vs. Group Dynamics: Individual supervision allows for focused, private reflection. Group supervision offers community, shared insight, and collective learning.
Credentialing Requirements: For example, the ICF ACTC requires 5–10 hours of supervision. We’ll help you align hours with your goals.
Schedule & Commitment: Choose what fits—occasional drop-ins or a more structured group.
